Creating Primary DNS Server on Ubuntu 10.04. This simple tutorial will work through the steps of creating a Primary DNS (Domain Name System) server on your Ubuntu server machine. I a few weeks ago setup a dns server to host many of my internal and public domains and found many help guides puzzling or caused problems.
For this example I will pass through the steps for setting up a private domain name for a private network, the instructions will work with if you have decided to host a dns server for your domain name. The BIND9 DNS Server was verified on ubuntu server 10.04.2, and 11.04

Membangun Server Repository Ubuntu 9.04

Dalam rangka menghemat bandwidth dan agar lebih praktis, terpikirkan juga membuat repository lokal agar semua user di Local Area Network Lab. TKJ tidak perlu menggunakan repository online dari internet, tapi cukup menggunakan repository lokal. Yang pertama harus dilakukan adalah mendapatkan DVD Repository Ubuntu 9.04 yang berjumlah 6 DVD, caranya bisa mendownloadnya dari kambing-UI atau bisa membelinya di gudang-linux dan baliwae. Kemudian buatkan isonya.
